DanceHall Studios pricing and plans for 2026

DanceHall Studios has three plans: Studio, Studio Pro and Custom. For ongoing classes, Studio Pro brings enrollment, recurring tuition, pauses, announcements and class materials into one place. As of November 2026, there are no per-student fees or contracts, Studio is self-serve, and Studio Pro and Custom start with a short call.

If you teach and do the admin yourself, those tasks may currently sit in a payments sheet, Zelle screenshots and a WhatsApp group. After a break, you may also have to enroll returning students again.

What are the DanceHall plans and prices?

As of November 2026, Studio costs $49/month, Studio Pro costs $149/month, and Custom is priced on a call. You set up Studio yourself; Studio Pro and Custom start with a short call where the DanceHall team sets up your studio.

For example, a teacher with roughly 30 to 150 students who also handles administration could choose Studio Pro.

How do you manage ongoing classes in DanceHall?

You share an enrollment link, set tuition to recur, and manage breaks, announcements and recordings from the same place. As of November 2026, the routine works as follows.

  1. Share the enrollment link. The student chooses a class, signs your terms and pays online in the same flow. For a child’s enrollment, the parent completes it. The signed terms stay with the enrollment, and a copy appears in the confirmation email.
  2. Set monthly or quarterly tuition to recur on the card on file. This replaces checking each transfer against your payments sheet. Failed cards are retried, and the student receives a link to update the card. For a child’s enrollment, the parent receives that link.
  3. Pause a student or a whole class when a break starts. Choose a billing restart date, or leave billing paused until you resume it. Students keep their places and class materials, so you do not need to create fresh enrollments when they return.
  4. Ask Sangs to send a class announcement, then confirm its action card. You handle that announcement in DanceHall rather than moving to the WhatsApp group for the task.
  5. Post class recordings by week and choose which weeks students can see. The recordings sit alongside the other class materials.

A pause with a date sets when billing restarts while preserving the student’s place and materials. The summer tuition pause walkthrough explains that option for a planned break.

Workshops and one-time programs can have their own price. For private classes and rehearsals, you can issue invoices and collect payment online through your own Stripe account. The tuition collection walkthrough explains the payment routine in more detail.

What do you pay beyond the monthly plan price?

Stripe’s standard processing fee comes out of each payment, in addition to the DanceHall subscription. Tuition goes to your studio’s own Stripe account and bank.

You choose in your settings whether students cover the card fee or your studio does.

Keep these as separate costs in your budget. The software subscription has a monthly price; processing costs depend on the payments you collect. More tuition payments can therefore increase processing costs even when your DanceHall plan stays the same.

What does DanceHall cost at 30, 100 or 300 students?

On the same plan, the price is the same at 30, 100 or 300 students. Studio is $49/month at each count, and Studio Pro is $149/month at each count, as of November 2026.

Some tools raise their price as your roster grows. Jackrabbit Dance, for example, prices by total students and counts inactive students too.

Custom remains priced on a call. Student count itself does not create a separate per-student charge.

What is not included today

Recital planning, costume management and ticketing are not part of DanceHall today. Ticketing is available only on the Custom plan.

Questions studio owners ask

Which DanceHall plan should I ask about for ongoing classes?

Studio Pro is the plan for ongoing classes and includes recurring tuition, pauses, announcements and class materials. It also includes QR attendance and levels.

Does DanceHall’s monthly price include payment processing?

Standard Stripe processing applies separately to each payment. Tuition is collected through your studio’s own Stripe account, so budget for the DanceHall subscription and payment processing separately.

Can I pause tuition without choosing a restart date?

Yes. DanceHall lets you pause a student or a whole class until you resume billing, with students keeping their places and class materials. You can also set a restart date when the return date is known.

Start with Studio or book a short call for Studio Pro from the DanceHall homepage.
